    Take the BR-040

    From São Paulo
    Go along the BR-116 to Barra Mansa and then take the BR-393 as far as Três Rios. After that, go along the BR-040.

    From Vitória (ES)
    Take the BR-101 and at the junction near Bom Jesus do Norte, go in the direction of Apiacá and continue until you get to Itaperuna. Take the BR-356 as far as Muriaé and then the BR-116 to Leopoldina. From there, go along the BR-267 in the direction of Bicas/Juiz de Fora.
