Launch of the Annals of the 4th Meeting of Historical Musicology

During the Pró-Música's 11th Festival of Brazilian Colonial Music and Ancient Music, which took place in July 2000, the 4th Meeting of Historical Musicology was held, on the theme of "Religious Music in Portuguese America".

The event, which takes place every two years as part of the Festival programme, was held in the Auditorium of the Murilo Mendes Study Centre (CEMM-JF) from 21st to 23rd, with the presentation of talks, lectures and thematic studies. The annals of this Meeting have been edited by the National Library and will be released to the public this year during the fifth edition of the event, which will take place from 19th to 21st July in the CEMM.
